Hi! I'm Nancy Koftan

Before starting my consulting business, I worked in the hospital quality department of a large multi-campus health system. Prior to that, I was a program administrator and taught healthcare education programs at the local university.  But I began my career as a clinician in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

In my 30+ years of experience, I've drilled down to root causes, developed preventive strategies, cut waste, and improved efficiency. 

I've seen the positive effect on both staff morale and the business bottom line after our successful process improvement activities have been completed.

What Makes Me Different?

I know what it’s like to be in the trenches. I was a clinician first. I know the frustrations that clinicians experience when they just want to take care of the patient.  I look at a process through the clinician’s eyes and those of a consultant.  My goal is always to make it more efficient for the clinican so they can focus on patient care.
